Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will assist with routine monitoring, analysis and reporting activities that support the operation of cyber security systems, processes and controls.

Working as part of a team of cyber security professionals, you will support the identification and handling of security events, assist with analysis and documentation, and maintain cyber security tools, logs and records.

You will triage cyber alerts and incidents, perform basic technical testing to identify weaknesses and assist in responding to emerging threats within established frameworks. You’ll help maintain procedures, runbooks and playbooks, support audit and compliance activities through evidence collection, and contribute to routine reporting and metrics.

You will contribute to capability uplift activities by providing input to cyber security documentation and identifying opportunities for process improvement. You’ll build your cyber security knowledge and skills through on‑the‑job learning, training and coaching from more experienced staff. You’ll also work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical partners, follow established instructions and processes, and contribute positively to a safe, secure and client‑focused work environment.
