Cyber Business Analyst

Your new role

You will play a critical role across two major cyber uplift initiatives:

Network Security Uplift
Supporting the organisation’s micro‑segmentation uplift to protect critical applications and workloads and reduce the risk of lateral movement during a cyber‑attack.

Application Security Remediation
Leveraging Wiz to identify vulnerabilities across institution‑hosted and cloud environments, supporting the development and execution of prioritised remediation plans.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are seeking a Business Analyst with demonstrated cyber or ICT project experience, including:

• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps)
• Effective stakeholder engagement across security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
• Ability to translate technical engineering risks into clear business impacts
• Experience in risk‑based prioritisation and impact assessment
• Ability to create executive dashboards, reporting, and risk summaries
• Proficiency in analysing large datasets using advanced Excel or Power BI
• Understanding of vulnerability management and the remediation lifecycle
• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, IAM, misconfiguration risks)
• Familiarity with micro‑segmentation, lateral movement, and Zero Trust principles
• Minimum 4 years’ Cyber/ICT Business Analysis experience
• Prior experience in the higher‑education sector (highly desirable)
