Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Creative Director with a demonstrated history of developing original, multi-platform brand campaigns that move beyond convention and into cultural relevance. This role demands a balance of visionary concepting, strategic thinking, and flawless execution. You will lead a cross-functional team of designers, writers, producers, and brand strategists to craft brand narratives that are as ambitious as they are precise—rooted in insight, delivered with edge, and backed by results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the development and evolution of the brand’s creative identity across all consumer touchpoints (digital, OOH, experiential, packaging, content).
- Translate complex business objectives into sharp, unexpected creative direction that resonates with niche and mainstream audiences alike.
- Lead the ideation and execution of 360° campaigns from pitch through production, ensuring cohesion across departments (internal and external).
- Direct photo and video shoots with a clear point of view, hands-on engagement, and real-time decision-making.
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership to shape brand positioning, narrative frameworks, and tone of voice.
- Provide thoughtful critique and mentorship to foster a studio culture of high accountability, experimentation, and excellence.
- Build scalable systems for creative quality control without compromising originality or speed.
- Evaluate creative partners (agencies, freelancers, vendors) and establish long-term relationships where needed.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in brand or campaign creative leadership roles, with at least 3 years managing a multidisciplinary team.
- A portfolio that demonstrates campaign work with clear cultural and commercial impact—campaigns that didn’t just “look good,” but shifted perception or created conversation.
- Expertise in leading creative within highly competitive verticals such as fashion, tech, media, or consumer lifestyle.
- Deep understanding of integrated marketing across owned, earned, and paid channels—what works, what fatigues, and what cuts through.
- Proven ability to frame and sell creative work to C-level stakeholders, using both emotional intelligence and data where appropriate.
- Strong art direction background with an editorial sensibility—capable of spotting the unexpected detail that elevates a visual story.
- Familiarity with motion design, production timelines, and the full creative stack (Figma, Adobe CC, etc.).
- Comfortable working at both the concept level and in the weeds of typography, casting, composition, or scripting.
