Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Design and produce a diverse range of print and digital communication materials (e.g. documents, flyers, advertisements, newsletters, infographics, web & social, event collateral, photos, videos and animation) that meet Queensland Government Visual brand and Accessibility Guidelines.
- Provide technical advice and creative design strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Offer guidance on corporate identity standards and Queensland Government Corporate Identity Guidelines.
- Liaise with external design suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality outcomes.
- Assist the team to manage the department’s image library and maintain quality control of visual assets.
- Support high-priority, deadline-driven activities, including the Mid-Year Fiscal and Economic Review (MYFER), and other projects.
- Contribute to fostering a positive work culture and a collaborative ‘one-team’ approach.
What experience you will bring:
- Proven organisational abilities to design and produce diverse communication materials in print and electronic formats within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience and proficiency in a variety of graphic design and multimedia applications to develop creative solutions for communication and marketing needs.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely, strategic, and innovative design advice to management, team members, and other departmental staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups across various disciplines and levels.
