CPI Project/ Design Engineer

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Lead multiple design and engineering projects from concept through testing, validation and implementation.
• Diagnose customer issues and develop effective interim and long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate with product support, specialist design, supply chain and manufacturing teams across the value stream.
• Apply engineering quality processes while keeping performance and safety at the forefront.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay in tune with customer operational needs.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, trust and clear communication.

What you’ll bring

• Engineering qualifications in electrical, electronic, mechanical, systems, or similar.
• Proven experience solving technical problems and supporting others.
• Strong understanding of project management and the ability to lead several projects at once.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with interstate and international stakeholders.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
• A passion for Continuous Product Improvement (CPI).
• Experience within mining, machinery or quality processes (highly desirable).
