Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Proofread and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
2. Review content for tone, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines
3. Fact-check content to ensure accuracy of information, data, and claims
4. Restructure or rewrite unclear passages while preserving the original intent and voice
5. Collaborate closely with writers and content teams to give constructive feedback and refine drafts
6. Maintain and apply a consistent style guide across all content pieces
7. Manage multiple editing assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
8. Flag potential legal, ethical, or sensitivity issues in content before publication
9. Ensure final content is publish-ready with zero errors before sign-off
10. Edit and proofread academic content, ensuring accuracy in terminology, citations, and formatting conventions
