The role
You will build the core engine that turns raw camera and sensor data into actionable 3D representations of homes.
Today we depend on Apple’s RoomPlan. Your job is to replace that dependency — unlocking Android, non-LiDAR devices, and a far richer spatial data product. The output of your work feeds everything downstream: visualization, the digital consultant, the pricing engine.
You’ll have real ownership and plenty of variety. You’ll go from reading papers and spinning up state-of-the-art models on GPU machines to wrapping pipelines into production APIs and weighing in on product direction.
Who we are looking for
Must have
- Solid ML/CV fundamentals and curiosity about how things work under the hood
- At home with 3D — point clouds, meshes, depth estimation, camera intrinsics
- Ability to discover, read, and implement state-of-the-art research — pull a repo, get it running on a GPU machine, evaluate and build product with it
- Experience deploying ML/CV pipelines in production (not just notebooks)
- Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-changing environment
Extra points
- Prior experience with SLAM, SfM, MVS, NeRFs, 3DGS, or similar.
- Background in GCP, containerized inference, or GPU infrastructure
- A relevant PhD or research background
- Curiosity about housing, renovation, or physical-world problems
