Your new role

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimizing cloud operations tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
  • Monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implementing backup, recovery, and optimization strategies to maintain data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Writing and maintaining technical operations documents to support cloud infrastructure and processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with security standards and obtaining NV1 clearance.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in AWS Cloud Platform and cloud operations tools.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience in writing technical operations documents.
  • NV1 clearance or the ability to obtain it.
