Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Customer and delivery support

• Assist senior engineers in preparing for and following up from customer meetings
• Help translate customer requests into clear tasks and basic technical changes
• Support incident and change work under guidance owning smaller items end to end as you grow
• Capture notes update tickets and help keep customers informed on progress

Cloud engineering and automation

• Help set up and maintain AWS environments for Dev, Test and Production
• Work with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines under guidance
• Use AI tools and our internal automation to speed up analysis documentation and troubleshooting
• Follow our patterns for security networking and cost control and help improve them over time

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of cloud fundamentals networking security and automation concepts
• Comfortable using documentation experimenting with tools and asking questions
• Clear written and verbal communication you can explain what you are doing and why
• Ability to break a problem into steps and follow through to completion

Knowledge, Experience and Qualification

• Basic understanding of cloud fundamentals

• Desirable – Programming language experience, e.g.: Python
• Desirable – AWS Cloud Practioner certification or proven AWS project experience
