Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Your responsibilities

• Develop reusable, maintainable code; enforce quality via reviews and SonarQube; add unit/integration tests
• Optimize and improve reliability of existing backend services
• Design, implement, and maintain automated delivery pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or comparable CI/CD platforms
• Automate setup, configuration, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery workflows using Infrastructure as Code and scripting
• Create and manage CRDs in Kubernetes; provision databases via Cross plane across cloud
• Perform operational management for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Monitor system performance, investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers and operations teams to maintain service stability

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years in DevOps/Platform Engineering roles supporting production systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and system monitoring practices
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance with GitLab and Jenkins
• Experience managing on-prem virtualized infrastructure, including networking, storage, and load balancing
• Infrastructure Automation: Design and deploy cloud and on-prem resources with Terraform/CloudFormation and Ansible
• Automation and operational scripting using Python and Bash
