Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable cloud solutions that align with our unique business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker who can bridge complex technical architectures with practical business needs, ensuring cloud environments are robust, secure, and cost-efficient. You will act as the principal architect for cloud adoption and migration strategies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build resilient systems that support rapid innovation and evolving customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the overarching cloud architecture strategy, emphasizing scalability, security, and operational excellence tailored to our specific industry requirements.
  • Lead cloud migration projects from legacy on-premises infrastructure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum ROI.
  • Architect automated infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Define security frameworks and implement cloud-native security best practices to safeguard data and applications against emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to translate complex requirements into actionable cloud design patterns and standards.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage, enforcing governance and cost management policies that reflect evolving business priorities.
  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and services to recommend innovative solutions that improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience architecting and delivering cloud solutions, with hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven track record of leading cloud migrations and building multi-cloud or hybrid environments in complex enterprise settings.
  • Deep knowledge of container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager, including designing reusable modules.
  • Extensive experience with network design, cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST, etc.), and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Ability to communicate complex cloud concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling cross-team alignment.
  • Experience integrating cloud environments with on-premises systems, databases, and legacy applications.
  • Cloud certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
  • Hands-on scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration tasks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency in cloud design.
