Cloud AI/ML Architect

Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned technologist to lead our new Cloud & AI capability for a large-scale AI/ML implementation. In this role, you will architect sophisticated, highly scalable AI and data-driven solutions; advise senior business stakeholders; and help shape the direction of our cloud-based service offerings. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position with broad cross-functional exposure within a major technology enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a principal architect and subject-matter expert for cloud-native AI / ML / data solutions, guiding both tactical implementation and long-term strategy
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to define architecture roadmaps, standards, and best practices
• Lead proof-of-concept, pilot, and production deployments of AI, machine-learning, and large-model systems at scale
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentoring to engineering teams
• Define and enforce governance around model lifecycle, data pipelines, monitoring, testing, operations, and security for AI/ML workloads
• Engage with senior stakeholders to convert domain problems into technical solutions, and to articulate value, risk, and trade-offs
• Keep abreast of advances in AI/ML, emergent frameworks, and operational techniques; assess their relevance and applicability

Ideal Profile:

• You possess 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• You have experience designing, architecting, and implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• You have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and high-availability design
• You have hands-on expertise in coding, scripting (e.g., Python), and data querying (e.g., SQL)
• You have experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and MLOps practices
• You are an effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You are curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning in the fast-evolving AI/ML landscape
