Business Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Guide the **design and governance** of **planning and inventory data models**, including gathering requirements and managing enhancements.
• Collect, analyze, clean, and profile data to support the **global rollout** of **demand planning solutions**.
• Partner with **business and IT teams** to understand their needs and turn them into clear **functional requirements**.
• Evaluate and recommend **data asset features**, balancing **priorities and trade-offs** to deliver the best outcomes.
• Assess **risks and impacts** of data changes, communicating **downstream effects** to relevant teams.
• Map **process and data flows** to uncover **gaps, redundancies**, and areas for improvement.
• Keep documentation up to date for **global planning data assets**.
• Collaborate with **Data Management** and **Data Quality** teams to set up **monitoring frameworks** that follow **global standards**.
• Take part in **data governance initiatives** across **regional and functional teams**.

Requirements:
• **Bachelor’s degree** plus **6–8 years** of experience in **master data**, **supply chain**, operations, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of **demand and supply planning**, **inventory management**, and **sales/shipment data**.
• Proven experience working with **cross-functional teams** including **planners** and **process owners**.
• Hands-on **SAP** skills (**S/4 HANA** preferred) and familiarity with planning tools like **Anaplan**, **OMP**, **Kinaxis**, or **SAP IBP**.
• **Advanced SQL** skills for data querying and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in **Excel** and **PowerPoint** for reporting and presentations.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Experience in **data governance**, **data quality**, and **data harmonization**.
• Knowledge of **data modeling** concepts (e.g., **star schema**).
• Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
