Job Description

Responsibilities

1. New Product Development (NPD) Execution

  • Track and monitor all NPD projects from concept approval to commercial launch.
  • Coordinate with R&D, procurement, packaging development, manufacturing, and sales teams.
  • Maintain NPD trackers and ensure adherence to launch timelines.
  • Coordinate packaging changeovers, new SKU launches, and promotional packs.
  • Follow up on artwork approvals, packaging development, and production readiness.

3. Category Marketing :

  • Analyze category trends, consumer insights, competitive activity, and market opportunities.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities for innovation, renovation, and premiumization.
  • Develop product positioning, claims, pricing, and pack architecture recommendations.
  • Develop and execute GTM plans for new product launches, relaunches, and channel-specific initiatives.
  • Define channel strategy for Modern Trade, General Trade, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, and Key Accounts.

4. Marketing Operations :

  • Support execution of channel-specific initiatives, JBP projects, vendor management.
  • Coordinate with packaging suppliers, printers, POSM vendors, and creative agencies.
  • Track timelines, quotations, deliveries, and execution status.
  • Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of marketing requirements.

6. Export & Business Support

  • Coordinate packaging and artwork requirements for export markets.
  • Maintain export project trackers and support documentation requirements.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.

7. Project Management & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly project status reports and management updates.
  • Highlight risks, delays, and dependencies proactively.
  • Drive closure of action items across functions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing or equivalent qualification.
  • 4-7 years of experience in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, consumer products, or related industries.
  • Experience in NPD coordination, packaging development, trade marketing, or marketing operations.
  • Strong project management and follow-up skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
