About the Role

We’re looking for a Brand Identity Designer who understands that brand is more than just a logo. You’ll lead the conceptualization and execution of identity systems that translate strategic positioning into visual coherence across digital, print, packaging, and experiential platforms. This role is ideal for someone who can connect deep conceptual thinking with highly refined visual craft and is comfortable owning projects from pitch through production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute full visual identity systems including logomarks, typography, color systems, iconography, and usage guidelines tailored to differentiated brand strategies.
  • Translate brand positioning and audience insights into distinct, original design solutions that scale across platforms.
  • Design brand collateral with deep understanding of spatial, digital, and printed environments (e.g., signage systems, packaging dielines, presentation decks, website UI components).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, product, marketing, and motion teams to ensure visual consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Conduct brand audits and competitive landscape research to ensure our solutions are both relevant and distinctive.
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines and design libraries, ensuring documentation reflects real-world application standards.
  • Present work to internal stakeholders and clients with a clear rationale rooted in design principles and brand strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in brand identity design, ideally at a brand or design studio with multi-sector experience (e.g., B2B, DTC, hospitality, tech).
  • Proven expertise in building identity systems—not just logo design—including scalable frameworks and real-world rollout.
  • Mastery of typography, layout, color theory, and composition with a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and visual clarity.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Familiarity with Figma or Sketch for digital applications.
  • Strong understanding of production processes across digital and print, including dielines, screen specs, and asset delivery for development teams.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and back them up with rationale rooted in business and brand strategy.
  • Experience creating and managing brand guideline documents and working within version-controlled asset libraries.
  • Comfortable working within and contributing to design systems in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • A plus: experience working with motion or 3D designers to extend brand identity into animation or interactive media.

  • You’ve launched at least two full identity systems that live across multiple mediums and can speak to your design thinking from research to rollout.
  • You’re able to defend design choices while remaining open to critique and iteration.
  • Stakeholders trust your eye, and cross-functional teams rely on your documentation and systems for consistency.
