BI Developer

Job Description

Job Summary :

This role supports the Global Procurement Analytics team with a focus on analyzing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and implementing strategies to support informed Category Strategy decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in BI tools, SAP data integration, ETL workflows, and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

– Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights

– Build and manage end-to-end ETL workflows using Power Query, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar tools

– Support data integration initiatives across SAP, GCP, Ariba, and cloud-based platforms

– Design and develop scalable data models aligned with reporting and governance standards

– Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions

– Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI/Tableau

– Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reporting accuracy

– Monitor and optimize workflows, refresh cycles, and BI platform performance

– Mentor junior team members and contribute to BI strategy initiatives

– Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs and provide actionable business insights

Required Skills :

– 5 to 8 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics

– Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools

– Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Power Query, Alteryx, Tableau Prep

– Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

– Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA / ECC)

– Experience integrating SAP and SAP Ariba data into BI platforms

– Understanding of Procurement, Finance, Vendor, Material, and Master Data concepts

– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have :

– Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

– Exposure to GCP and cloud-based analytics platforms

– Leadership or BI-related certifications

– Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

Minimum Qualification :

– Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
