Backend Engineer – Scalable Systems

About the Role :

We are looking for a high-impact Backend Engineer who thrives on building scalable, distributed systems and solving complex engineering problems. You will play a key role in designing robust backend architectures, powering high-throughput applications, and driving engineering excellence.

What You’ll Do :

– Design and build highly scalable backend systems and microservices

– Architect solutions for performance, reliability, and security

– Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services

– Work on distributed systems and event-driven architectures

– Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

– Optimize applications for high availability and low latency

What We’re Looking For :

Core Skills :

– Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms & System Design

– Expertise in backend development using Java / Node.js / Python

– Hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Microservices architecture

– Experience building high-throughput, distributed systems

– Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend design principles

– Experience with messaging systems (Kafka / ActiveMQ)

– Solid exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring

Good to Have :

– Experience with RDBMS & NoSQL databases (design & selection)

– Exposure to DevOps practices / Infrastructure as Code

– Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns / iPaaS

– Contributions to open-source projects

– Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications
