Back-End Developer (.NET)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using .NET technologies
• Create and manage APIs to enable seamless integration with front-end components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews with peers
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into our development process
• Design and implement APIs for integration with front-end and mobile applications
• Work on database design, development, and optimization for performance
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless user experiences
• Implement security protocols to protect application data and services
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot application issues
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience as a Back-End Developer, particularly with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API integration
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker)
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Ability to develop unit tests and understand the importance of test-driven development
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of solid experience in back-end development with .NET technologies
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• technologies like ASP.NET Core, C#, and Web APIs
• Strong database skills in SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including complex queries, indexing, and stored procedures
• containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
