Azure Backend Developer

Job Description

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

– Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Azure cloud services

– Build scalable, secure, and resilient microservices architectures

– Develop and deploy backend components using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and/or AKS

– Integrate backend services with databases, messaging systems, and external applications

– Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD / OAuth2 / Managed Identities

– Optimize application performance, scalability, and cost using Azure best practices

– Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights

– Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and architecture teams

– Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

– Support UAT and production issues, including root cause analysis

Backend & Programming :

– Strong experience in .NET Core / C# or Java / Python / Node.js

– Experience building REST APIs and asynchronous services

– Knowledge of microservices and event driven architectures

– Azure Cloud

Hands on experience with :

– Azure App Service / Azure Functions

– Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) preferred

– Azure API Management (APIM)

– Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)

– Experience with Azure Key Vault for secrets management

Data & Integration :

– Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL / Cosmos DB

– Knowledge of messaging systems like Service Bus / Event Grid / Kafka (good to have)

DevOps & CI/CD :

– Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

– Infrastructure as Code using ARM / Bicep / Terraform (preferred)

– Containerization using Docker (mandatory if AKS involved)

Non- Technical Skills :

– Strong problem’s olving and analytical skills

– Good communication and stakeholder interaction

– Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

– Ability to work independently and within cross functional teams
