AWS Engineer

Job Description

As a an AWS Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure while leading migration projects from on-prem to AWS. We’re looking for someone with deep AWS expertise, strong skills in automation and CI/CD, and the ability to drive secure, scalable solutions across a Pan-Baltic environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Azure services.
• Lead migration projects from on-prem to AWS
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Terragrunt, Chef
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI and Argo CD.
• Integrate IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solutions with Grafana observability platform.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce CIS hardening and manage Chef cookbooks for secure OS configurations.
• Support incident management and troubleshooting for cloud environments.
• Participate in cloud governance and compliance initiatives (e.g., PCIDSS, DORA, SWIFT)
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Cloud Platforms: 5+ years in AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, EC2), 3+ years in Azure (AVD, Intune, Azure AD, Azure Firewall).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Terragrunt, Chef (including hardened cookbooks), Ansible.
• At least one Scripting Languange: Bash, Python, Powershell
• Monitoring Tools: OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus.
• CI/CD: Gitlab CI Pipelines, Argo CD.
• Migration Experience: Proven delivery of on-prem to Azure or AWS cloud migration projects
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, CKA(preferred), Microsoft Azure Administrator (preferred).
• Basic understanding: security, cloud security and secure software development lifecycle
