Auditor (Intermediate)

The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance division. In this role, you will be exposed to a varied client base across a wide range of industries, giving you the chance to broaden your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a team to undertake external audit engagements across a range of industries and sizes.
• Complete planning sections of audit files without supervision.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to our undergraduate and graduate Auditors.
• Assess and analyse financial statements, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Liaise with clients and build strong relationships.
• Provide recommendations to clients after understanding and assessing internal controls.
• Complete assigned work in a timely manner with little to no review points.

About You

• Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Have commenced the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 1+ years External Audit experience.
• Broad industry experience, including experience on client engagement in the following industries: Mining, Manufacturing, Schools, Biotech, Financial Services, Technology, Not-for-profits
• Knowledge of the following software: Caseware, Extractly.ai, Accuri, Cradle Accounting, Xero, Sage, Business Central, SAP.
• Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
