Audit Executive

Job Description

Responsibilities:  

• Lead audit engagement with engagement from planning, fieldwork, preparing audit observation and communicate recommendations to respective relevant personnel.
• Draft comprehensive audit reports that include key findings, recommendations for improvement, and corrective actions for management to address identified issues. 
• Review data and conduct analysis on identified areas and make necessary recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution taken by management.

• Ensure all relevant working paper inclusive audit program maintained in respective achieve file for reference and quality assessment.
• Assist Head of Department prepare meeting material for Management Monthly meetings whenever required.
• Supports team in preparing for the Audit Committee Meeting Deck and Minutes of Meeting.
• Keep abreast of changes in regulations, audit standards, and best practices to ensure the internal audit function remains effective and compliant by attending relevant workshops/ webinar/ conference. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:  

Must-Have:  

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance /IT/ Information Security or a related field. 

Familiar with Malaysian Financial Services Industry regulation (eg. BNM, SC, PayNet)

• Able to draft audit programme to meet audit objective and identified risk.
• Keep attention to probe details through data analysis. 
• Able to work with less supervision and communicate with cross-department.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple audit assignment simultaneously. 

Nice-to-Have:  

• Experience governance role in regulatory / information technology/ payment processing related. 
• Experience in continuous auditing or data analytics.
