Assistant General Manager – Branding & Communications

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive branding and communication strategies aligned with the annual business plan.
• Collaborate with Business Heads to design and implement impactful marketing initiatives.
• Prepare annual marketing and advertising budgets, with continuous tracking and optimization.

Brand Management & Promotions (ATL/BTL)

• Plan and execute ATL and BTL campaigns.
• Conceptualize innovative schemes and campaigns to maximize brand visibility and ROI.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

• Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, and performance campaigns.
• Oversee website management and drive phased e-commerce activation strategies.
• Monitor digital campaign performance and optimize for engagement and conversions.

Market Intelligence & Analytics

• Conduct market research and analyze customer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Track campaign performance using KPIs and ROI metrics; provide actionable insights.
• Predict emerging trends and recommend proactive branding strategies.
• Work closely with the sales team to align branding initiatives with business requirements.

Customer Engagement & Loyalty Programs

• Design and implement loyalty programs for dealers, distributors, and influencers.
• Create engagement initiatives targeting key customer segments to drive repeat business.

Agency & Vendor Management

• Identify, onboard, and manage advertising agencies and marketing partners.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns within budget.

Events & Brand Activation

• Plan and execute exhibitions, product launches, and distributor/dealer meets.
• Drive on-ground brand activation activities to enhance visibility and engagement.
