Position Overview

We are seeking a highly conceptual and execution-driven Art Director with a sharp visual sense and a demonstrated ability to lead bold creative across digital, print, and experiential platforms. This is not a plug-and-play position. You will be responsible for elevating the brand’s visual identity and translating strategic goals into disruptive, boundary-pushing creative that resonates with target audiences. You must have a track record of leading teams through ideation, refinement, and flawless execution of campaigns in competitive or saturated markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptual Leadership: Develop and pitch original concepts for brand campaigns, product launches, and content series. No recycled ideas—only fresh thinking rooted in brand relevance and cultural awareness.
  • Cross-Platform Execution: Oversee and personally contribute to the design and execution of creative across digital, print, video, packaging, environmental design, and social media.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual language. Push aesthetic boundaries while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and consumer expectations.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead a team of designers, illustrators, and freelancers. Provide art direction that is specific, actionable, and inspiring—not vague or surface-level.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and production teams to build campaigns that are as intelligent as they are visually striking.
  • Creative Quality Control: Approve final layouts, storyboards, and production designs. You will be responsible for the visual integrity of everything that ships.
  • Cultural Insight: Stay informed on current visual trends, media formats, and audience shifts—then use that insight to produce work that cuts through the noise.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in an agency, studio, or brand-side art director role with a portfolio that showcases campaign-level thinking and hands-on design execution.
  • Strong typographic instincts and a refined sense of composition. You should be able to break the grid when it matters—and know when not to.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects); experience with Figma or motion tools is a plus.
  • Experience directing photoshoots and video productions with a clear point of view and the ability to give real-time, constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without ego: You know how to guide teams and clients to better outcomes without dominating the process.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and tight timelines: You’re able to move fast without sacrificing craft, even when objectives are evolving.
  • Experience with campaign-level creative across multiple markets or cultures is a major plus—global perspective preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, visual communication, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Bonus Skills

  • Working knowledge of 3D, AR/VR, or generative design tools.
  • Experience in performance marketing or e-commerce optimization.
  • Background in fashion, editorial, or luxury brand environments.
