Job Description
We’re seeking an Art Director with a disruptive visual eye and a deep understanding of emerging design trends, capable of shaping brand identities beyond standard style guides. This role isn’t about maintaining what already exists—it’s about creative leadership that redefines visual language for digital campaigns, immersive experiences, and cross-platform storytelling. You’ll lead a nimble team of designers and freelancers, collaborate with copywriters, and shape conceptual narratives into compelling visual executions across mediums—web, social, print, and motion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the visual development of creative campaigns, from initial concept to final execution.
- Translate abstract ideas and strategic goals into unique visual narratives that stand apart from industry clichés.
- Oversee and mentor a team of visual designers, illustrators, and animators; ensure each project pushes boundaries without losing clarity.
- Partner with copy, strategy, UX, and production teams to create cohesive, platform-specific designs.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints while continuously evolving its visual tone to stay ahead of trends.
- Review and approve design assets, ensuring conceptual and technical excellence.
- Direct external photographers, videographers, and illustrators as needed for campaign content.
- Stay ahead of design, tech, and culture trends to inspire new formats and campaign possibilities.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of design experience, with at least 2 years in an art direction role; agency or fast-paced in-house team experience required.
- A portfolio that demonstrates unconventional, forward-thinking creative work—especially across interactive or campaign formats.
- Strong understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and motion—particularly when used to drive emotional storytelling.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide junior creatives without imposing a rigid aesthetic.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging prototyping or motion tools (e.g. After Effects, Blender, Spline).
