Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable internal applications that directly support business operations and data flow across teams. You’ll own features end to end, contribute to system architecture, and collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop full-stack web applications (React/Node.js or similar) with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integrate internal systems using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specs.
  • Maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Monitor applications in production using APM tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic); respond to performance regressions and service disruptions.
  • Write thorough documentation and automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  • Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers in best practices and debugging techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript, with production experience in React and Node.js/Express.
  • Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience designing normalized schemas.
  • Demonstrated experience building applications with role-based access control, session management, and audit logging.
  • Proficiency with Docker for containerized development and deployment.
  • Prior experience integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Stripe) and managing auth flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working in a Unix environment and using tools like curl, grep, and jq for debugging.
  • Strong communication skills and proven experience working in a collaborative Agile/Scrum team.
