Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Application Analyst to manage, optimize, and support our suite of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, Financial Systems, and internal web tools). This role requires hands-on experience with data integration, configuration management, and working directly with end-users and vendors. You will serve as the primary liaison between business teams and application vendors, ensuring that system functionality aligns with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as system owner for selected enterprise applications (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow), ensuring uptime, data integrity, and user satisfaction.
  • Partner with functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations) to gather business requirements and translate them into configuration updates, workflow changes, or enhancement requests.
  • Analyze and triage application issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with vendors for resolution when needed.
  • Design, execute, and validate data imports, exports, and transformations (using tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or SQL scripting).
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, user permissions, integration points, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in and sometimes lead UAT cycles for application upgrades or patches, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation or performance improvements and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor data quality and work closely with business analysts to ensure reporting accuracy across integrated platforms.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise business applications in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with application configuration (e.g., field customization, workflows, permissions) in at least one of: Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with 3rd-party vendors for support escalations or system enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, master data management, and cross-system dependencies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, detailed work on tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting API documentation and working alongside developers or integration specialists.
