Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst with a strong background in enterprise-level system support, configuration, and integration. This role will focus on supporting critical business applications such as ERP, CRM, and internally developed systems, ensuring optimal performance, user support, and continuous improvement aligned with evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, configure, and support enterprise applications, with specific focus on SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
- Liaise with business units to capture and translate functional requirements into system specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis on application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
- Develop and maintain system documentation including workflows, data mapping, and process definitions.
- Design and execute SQL queries for data validation, report development, and troubleshooting.
- Manage user access, security roles, and data integrity in compliance with governance standards.
- Participate in application upgrades, patching cycles, and new module implementations with minimal disruption to users.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to monitor application performance and availability.
- Conduct regression testing, coordinate UAT, and ensure adherence to release schedules.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support and on-call coverage during critical application downtimes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications, particularly ERP, CRM, or custom line-of-business tools.
- Demonstrable experience with SAP modules (especially FI/CO or MM), Salesforce configuration and workflows, and/or ServiceNow ITSM.
- Proficient in SQL and data extraction/analysis from relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server preferred).
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and debug application logs, XML, and JSON payloads for issue analysis.
- Strong documentation skills using Confluence, Visio, or equivalent tools.
- Capable of translating non-technical user needs into actionable technical changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Salesforce Administrator, SAP Functional Modules, or ServiceNow Administrator.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and participation in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Experience with automated testing platforms and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Prior experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, or manufacturing) with knowledge of compliance standards (SOX, HIPAA, GxP).
