Apparel Technical Designer – Fresher

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed and production-ready tech packs for all apparel and accessory styles.
2. Prepare technical sketches (front, back, side, and construction details).
3. Develop measurement specifications, grading charts, construction details, and stitching guidelines.
4. Specify fabrics, trims, accessories, labels, packaging, and wash care requirements.
5. Select suitable fabrics based on product functionality, comfort, durability, and cost.
6. Maintain fabric and trim libraries with technical specifications.
7. Ensure all designs are manufacturable while maintaining quality standards.
8. Work closely with manufacturers during sampling and production.
9. Review proto samples, fit samples, PP samples, and provide technical comments.
10. Identify construction or fit issues and recommend improvements.
11. Coordinate with sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development.
12. Maintain organized documentation for all styles and revisions.
13. Stay updated with garment manufacturing techniques, fabrics, and industry trends.
