Job Description

Essential Role Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for existing environments, understanding the end-to-end application functionality, patch installation, upgrades, query writing, configuration, security, system monitoring and tuning, disaster recovery planning, and release deployments.
  • Collaborate with client services to understand customer needs, provide technical support, and ensure seamless integration and operation of our solutions, enhancing overall client satisfaction and experience.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure all relevant KPIs are implemented within the monitoring framework.
  • Participate in all Production Support activities during incidents and outages. Be a hands-on technical resource capable of resolving all technical issues within lower and upper environments and making recommendations for performance and capacity improvements.
  • Participate in capacity planning, tuning systems stability, provisioning, performance, and scaling of the application infrastructure.
  • Efficiently resolve issues in a 24×7 environment, ensuring minimal impact and rapid resolution.
  • Analyze internal alerts coming from various monitoring tools like Splunk, Sitescope, Dynatrace etc.
  • Analyze code and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with product development teams to review operational readiness of production changes.
  • Work in a team environment as well as independently to resolve issues with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Experience with multi-tier architecture applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Experience with .NET, Windows OS, and IIS
  • Hands-on experience working with Cloud technologies, specifically Azure
  • Good understanding of Azure resources such as Function Apps, App Service, and CosmosDB
  • Good understanding of networking and private endpoints
  • Ability to write Splunk queries and create dashboards/alerts
  • Knowledge of SOAP & REST API’s
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines
  • Able to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrate a desire to automate as much as possible
  • Able to participate in an on-call rotation
