Your new role
As an Account Manager, you will work closely with experienced brokers to manage lending deals end-to-end, acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the process and beyond. This role offers a strong balance of client interaction and technical lending work, making it ideal for someone looking to step deeper into a broking environment.
In this role, you will:
- Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to settlement and ongoing annual reviews
- Structure and package residential and investment loan applications
- Assess income, serviceability, and financial documents (including self-employed scenarios)
- Submit deals via aggregator platforms and liaise with lenders (primarily major banks)
- Order valuations and manage applications through to settlement
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in residential lending (bank or brokerage)
- Strong understanding of serviceability, credit policy, and loan structuring
- Experience working with or alongside mortgage brokers (highly regarded)
- Professional communication skills and a client-first approach
