Job Description

The Role
As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights and high-quality reporting solutions, including:

• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations
• Analysing complex datasets to identify trends, risks and actionable insights
• Translating business requirements into clear data and reporting specifications
• Building and maintaining data models using DAX, Power Query and SQL
• Working with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Dataflows and Lakehouse concepts
• Validating and improving data quality, consistency and governance
• Implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) within Power BI
• Presenting analytical findings to business and technical stakeholders
• Supporting UAT, report validation and implementation activities

About You
To be successful, you will be a technically strong Data Analyst with a passion for turning complex information into clear, valuable insights and the ability to confidently engage with both business and technical stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting or analytics
• Moderate to advanced Power BI capability
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong proficiency across DAX, Power Query and SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
• Understanding of semantic models, Dataflows and Lakehouse concepts
• Strong data visualisation and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data or Fabric certifications are highly regarded, but not essential
