Product Development Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of physical products, accessories, packaging and connected technologies.
• Translate customer needs and product concepts into clear technical requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate prototypes, product samples, supplier inputs and design review activities.
• Support product testing, verification and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Work with product teams and suppliers to refine designs, resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
• Support design for manufacture, new product introduction and production readiness activities.
• Prepare technical product information for manufacturing, marketing, sales, customer support, packaging and user manuals.
• Monitor development activities, design decisions, risks and progress across multiple projects.
• Support ongoing product improvements, design changes and product lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver products that meet customer, quality, cost and schedule requirements.
