Sr PHP Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop web‑based applications within our existing custom application framework

• Contribute to the design of intuitive user interfaces and user experiences across our products

• Follow established processes for software design, development, deployment, and maintenance

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years demonstrable experience developing applications with PHP

• Experience with front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/AJAX

• Experience using jQuery

• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a software development team environment and cross‑departmentally

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing objectives and deadlines

Highly Desirable

• Experience working in a Unix/Linux server environment

• Understanding of service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful web APIs

• Experience working in an AWS cloud environment

• Experience with responsive web design, mobile optimization, and modern front‑end frameworks

• Awareness of modern web design trends, best practices, and emerging development technologies

• Experience with Laravel or Symfony frameworks.
