Job Description

Responsibilities

• Code Migration: Analyze and reverse-engineer existing ETL mappings, packages, and load plans within Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• PL/SQL Development: Convert legacy ODI logic into efficient, maintainable, and highly optimized Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Orchestration & Integration: Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages tasked with connecting to Oracle environments and triggering the newly created PL/SQL blocks.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure peak database performance during heavy ETL cycles.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous data validation, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure zero data loss or logic drift between legacy and new architectures.
• Documentation: Provide thorough technical documentation outlining mapping logic, structural changes, and SSIS control flow logic throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI): Strong conceptual understanding of ODI architectures (Models, Mappings, Knowledge Modules, and Load Plans) to extract legacy logic.
• Oracle PL/SQL: Expert-level mastery of PL/SQL programming, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS): Hands-on experience building and maintaining SSIS projects, deployment to the SSIS Catalog, and managing control flow tasks (specifically Execute SQL Tasks interacting with Oracle providers).
• Database Connectivity: Demonstrated experience configuring heterogeneous data source connections (e.g., Attunity, OLE DB, or ODBC drivers) between Microsoft and Oracle ecosystems.

Remote & Offshore Requirements

• Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to deliver results asynchronously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with onshore teams.
• Flexibility to align overlapping working hours with the onshore team’s time zone as needed
