Analyst / Associate
We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the PrivateCircle Markets team. You will be the interface between startups seeking capital and investors actively deploying it – responsible for onboarding companies onto the platform, qualifying them against investor preferences, and facilitating meaningful introductions that lead to transactions.
This is not a sales role. It requires the judgment to evaluate a company’s fundability, the relationships to engage credibly with investors, and the communication skills to bridge both worlds effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and qualify startups onto the PrivateCircle transactions platform, assessing fit against active investor preferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with early-stage VC funds, family offices, and angel investors.
- Facilitate curated introductions between founders and relevant investors.
- Track deal progress, maintain pipeline hygiene, and report on transaction activity.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in a role that required direct, substantive interaction with early-stage startups and/or investors – this includes investment / platform roles at VC funds, accelerators, incubators, or angel networks.
- Demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills — you will be responsible for cold calling companies and investors, creating campaigns, and representing PrivateCircle at events.
- Comfort with financial data, understanding of startup metrics, cap tables, funding rounds, and valuation frameworks.
- Sharp judgment on what makes a company fundable at a given stage.
- Self-starter with high ownership; this is an early role on a new platform and requires someone who can operate with limited hand-holding.
