Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Summary: In this role, you will support enterprise application and platform deployments. Priority is candidates who have experience working within the client’s AWS Federated environment managing and supporting large-scale, highly governed financial services cloud environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Support application and infrastructure deployments in AWS
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Troubleshoot deployment, environment, and infrastructure issues
• Partner with development, platform engineering, security, and offshore teams
• Support enterprise release processes and deployment controls
• Improve automation and reduce manual operational effort
• Assist with cloud platform support, monitoring, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Strong hands-on AWS experience specifically with AWS Federated
• Experience in deploying applications within AWS Federated
• Terraform/Infrastructure-as-Code expertise
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Harness, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Experience supporting application deployments in enterprise environments
• Experience working closely with development teams rather than pure operations teams
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformations
• Financial services or regulated industry experience
• Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
• Knowledge of IAM, networking, security groups, compute, storage, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Monitoring/Observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Java or Python exposure
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment and pipeline issues
