Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Own our community across Online Community forums structure, rituals, moderation, day-to-day engagement.
  • Be the first responder: answer questions, unblock traders, escalate bugs, make sure no API question goes unanswered.
  • Identify and nurture power users and strategy builders; run ambassador and early-access programmes.
  • Plan and execute offline meetups, hackathons and strategy competitions across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and other hubs plus online AMAs, workshops and guest sessions.
  • Create content that lowers the barrier to algo trading: getting-started guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs, backtesting explainers.
  • Keep documentation, sample code and cookbooks genuinely useful you should be able to write and test a basic strategy yourself.
  • Capture community pain points and translate them into structured, prioritised product feedback.
  • Track what’s brewing globally agentic tooling, AI copilots, no-code automation and bring it back to our users and our roadmap.
  • Define and track community metrics: active builders, deployed strategies, resolution time, new-trader retention.

Requirements:

  • 13 years in community management, developer relations, growth, content or a trader-facing role. Exceptional candidates with less formal experience but deep algo credibility will be considered.
  • A real understanding of algo trading you know what a backtest is, why slippage matters, what a webhook does. You don’t need to be a quant, but you can’t be faking it in front of one.
  • You genuinely enjoy talking to traders. This role involves hundreds of conversations a month.
  • Awareness of the algo landscape in India and globally the tools, the communities, the interesting builders, where it’s heading.
  • Strong written communication: a clear tutorial, a crisp announcement, well-structured product feedback.
  • Comfort with technical material API docs, sample code, explaining a strategy to a beginner.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, comfortable with ambiguity and willing to travel for events.

Good to Have:

  • Hands-on experience building, backtesting or running your own strategies or bots.
  • Existing network in Indian trading, quant or developer communities.
  • Experience running Discord/Telegram communities at scale, or organising meetups and hackathons.
  • Ability to write Python well enough to build demos and debug user issues.
  • Personal trading experience in crypto or Indian markets
