QUALITY MANAGER

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and review realistic maritime scenarios, case studies and training content

Verify shipboard terminology, procedures, equipment, ranks and operational sequences

Review training videos, scripts, storyboards, illustrations and assessments for maritime accuracy

Ensure that scenarios and assessments meet the intended learning objectives

Review behavioural safety, leadership, communication, mental wellbeing and human-factor content from a maritime perspective

Test learning content and record corrections through the companys work-management system

Guide content developers, researchers and video-production teams

Provide regular maritime knowledge sessions to the internal team

Support online, classroom or onboard training programmes at a later stage

Monitor relevant maritime regulatory and industry developments

Candidate profile:

Master Mariner, Marine Captain or experienced Chief Officer

Valid or previously held Certificate of Competency

Strong and recent shipboard experience

Sound knowledge of vessel operations, safety management and seafarer challenges

Interest in training, learning development and behavioural skills

Strong written and verbal English communication

Comfortable reviewing digital content and working with online collaboration platforms

Patient, detail-oriented and able to guide a multidisciplinary team

Based in India with a reliable home-working setup and internet connection

Available for full-time employment
