Job Description

What You Will Do :

– Contribute to defining, developing, and continuously evolving cloud architecture, including design, deployment, security, and operations.

– Implement Infrastructure as Code automation using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to support production application deployments.

– Partner with Cybersecurity teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures that meet industry compliance requirements.

– Define, promote, and apply cloud optimization best practices to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.

– Lead impact assessments and support decision-making related to technology choices, architectural design, and implementation strategy.

– Participate in an on-call rotation, working collaboratively with development and operations teams to support production systems.

What You Bring To PTC :

– Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting cloud-based production environments.

– Working knowledge of building or applying AI agents to improve DevOps, CloudOps, automation, or operational efficiency.

– Strong experience designing, building, and operating systems in AWS cloud environments.

– 2+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud automation using Terraform and Ansible.

– 2+ years of production experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS.

– Strong experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

– Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, networking fundamentals, and cloud connectivity concepts.

– Experience designing or supporting high-availability and fault-tolerant architectures.

– Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, and Datadog.

– Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

– A strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and drive.

Nice To Have Qualifications :

– AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

– AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.

– AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
