The Opportunity
As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering BI solutions that empower organisations to make informed decisions. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop data models, and create engaging visualisations that tell meaningful stories with data.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, visualisations and reports that deliver actionable insights.
• Transform complex data sets into meaningful and user-friendly BI solutions.
• Build and optimise Power BI semantic models, including hierarchical and enterprise-scale reporting structures.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, calculations, and queries following industry best practices.
• Analyse business data and present findings through compelling visual stories and performance reporting.
• Design and maintain KPI scorecards, executive dashboards, and operational reporting solutions.
• Ensure reporting solutions are scalable, performant and aligned with business objectives.

 
About You
To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience delivering Power BI solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX and data modelling.
• Strong experience creating impactful dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
• Semantic model development for self service reporting
• Proven ability to tell compelling stories with data and translate insights into business outcomes.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large and complex data sets.
• Strong experience with deployment pipelines and RLS
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Extensive experience in BI and reporting development.
• Exposure to ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modelling concepts.
• Experience working with modern data platforms such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or similar environments will be highly regarded.
