Civil QAQC Engineer

Job Description

Daily Responsibilities

• Quality control of civil and structural works on the construction site.
• Inspection of construction materials, workmanship, and relevant documentation (certificates, declarations, test reports).
• Identification and recording of defects, preparation of reports, and supervision of corrective actions.
• Cooperation with construction managers, technical supervision engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and maintenance of as-built documentation.
• Ensuring that civil and structural works comply with design documentation, regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role on construction sites implementing civil or structural construction projects (experience in quality control or technical supervision is an advantage).
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, concrete works, structural works, earthworks, foundations, and other relevant construction technologies.
• Understanding of construction regulations, quality standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural designs and working drawings.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze technical documentation and identify potential non-conformities and risks.
• Good command of English for working in an international team.
