Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Build with AI as the default. Use agentic coding tools and LLM-driven workflows to design, implement, test, and review. Automate the repetitive parts of engineering so your time goes to the hard, high-leverage problems.
  • Ship AI-powered product features: document understanding, LLM-assisted configuration, self-validating extraction.
  • Own the full stack. Develop and maintain a Python backend (APIs, data pipelines) and a modern React web app for authoring and previewing results.
  • Build validation and testing systems that check automated outputs against ground truth, so the platform can be trusted at scale.
  • Work from outcomes, not specs. You won’t get pixel-perfect tickets here. You’ll talk directly with stakeholders, understand what the output needs to be, build a first version fast, and iterate based on real feedback.
  • Raise the bar for the team. Share the workflows, tools, and patterns that make everyone faster.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience, with a track record of shipping production software.
  • 1+ years building with AI: fluent with agentic coding assistants and LLM-driven workflows, with informed opinions about how to use them well, and when not to.
  • Strong Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience building production web applications with React or a similar modern front-end framework.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience designing and building RESTful APIs and data-processing services (FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks).
  • Hands-on LLM experience applied to real problems: model integration, prompt engineering, evaluation and validation loops, or document/text understanding.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • An evidence-driven mindset: you verify that things actually work instead of assuming they do, which matters more, not less, when agents write the code.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: you don’t wait for detailed, fully specified requirements. You engage with stakeholders, clarify the intended outcome, make reasonable assumptions, ship an early version, and refine it through iteration. Good written communication helps you keep everyone aligned along the way.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Hands-on experience with agent-based / agentic AI systems in production.
  • Building or maintaining evaluation infrastructure for LLM outputs.
  • Experience with document processing at scale (OCR, layout analysis, table extraction).
  • Experience working with time-series data, real-time data pipelines, or large datasets.
  • Familiarity with building automation or industrial IoT systems (BMS/BAS, HVAC, SCADA) or other real-world sensor data domains.
