Mechatronics Engineer

Your new role

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, integrating, and validating mechatronic and automation systems
• Supporting firmware, software, and hardware development activities
• Taking ownership of assigned subsystems from design through to commissioning
• Working with sensors, actuators, motion control systems, control hardware, and automation logic
• Conducting testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance improvements
• Producing technical documentation including test procedures, commissioning records, and troubleshooting guides
• Providing hands-on support during equipment builds, integration, and deployment activities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable engineering solutions
• Supporting validation and commissioning activities, including occasional international travel

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in mechatronics, industrial automation, robotics, controls, or software engineering
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with sensors, actuators, motion systems, or industrial equipment
• Programming experience with C++ and/or Python
• Exposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers, or firmware development
• Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, control systems, or communication protocols
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
