Job Description
As a Computer Vision Engineer you’ll work on building up the AI stack that lets our aircraft understand the world in GNSS-denied airspace, based purely on visual perception. You will work on implementing, maintaining, and improving computer vision components, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and production-ready.
What you will be doing
- Designing and training neural networks for real-time inference on embedded GPUs/NPUs, as well as specialised SOMs and NN accelerators.
- Designing, implementing & improving core CV modules: visual odometry, SLAM, obstacle detection, terrain recognition, scene recognition, etc.
- Collaborating across the full drone software stack — perception, control, planning, simulation.
You also might learn to fly drones: although we have a team of skilled pilots, hands-on testing can be useful for making sure your code is properly integrated.
We are looking for
Required skills:
- Applied math: linear algebra, calculus, probability.
- Pytorch and Python.
- C++: knowledge of the memory and concurrency models of the language.
Nice to have:
- Software design patterns.
- UAV or robotics background (work experience or education).
- Experience with deploying neural networks on resource-constrained, real-time systems (mobile / embedded / robotics).
