Your new role

As Civil Design Manager, you will take ownership of the civil design function, leading a small team of engineers and drafters while managing the delivery of multiple projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the civil design process across a portfolio of projects
• Coordinating design reviews, clash detection and design updates
• Ensuring design deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and drafters
• Managing client relationships and supporting business development activities
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
• Driving quality outcomes and maintaining high engineering standards across all projects

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Civil Engineering degree
• Strong civil design management experience within a consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience managing design coordination, clash detection and design deliverables
• Proven leadership capability with experience leading engineering and drafting teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Business development experience and the ability to identify new opportunities
• A hands-on and collaborative approach to leadership
• The ability and willingness to work predominantly from the office, with flexibility available when required
