Industrial Technical Visual Reasoning Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Create complex visual reasoning problems based on authentic industrial and engineering artifacts.
• Develop tasks that require multi-step reasoning, analysis, troubleshooting, design interpretation, planning, or decision-making.
• Ensure that the visual artifact is essential to solving the problem and that the task cannot be answered from text alone.
• Design questions that emphasize structural, spatial, functional, and systems-level reasoning rather than simple visual lookup or OCR.

Utilities & Power Systems

• Grid diagrams
• Electrical distribution systems
• Substation layouts

Requirement

• Good understanding engineering simulation, modeling, digital twins, computer-aided engineering (CAE), verification, validation, or system design involving the interpretation of real-world technical artifacts.
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation and professional technical artifacts.
• Ability to interpret complex diagrams, drawings, schematics, layouts, and system representations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to explain engineering reasoning in a structured and detailed manner.
