Job Description
Responsibilities
- Set-up new products on Prophet and test it against the already set-up pricing models by performing cashflow reconciliation.
- Ensure the model is compatible with all the regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the stakeholders for model requirements and deliver as per the requirement raised and provide technical support on Prophet on an ongoing basis
- Identify opportunities for improvements in the model & process efficiency
- Maintenance and set-up of a timely, accurate, well-documented, and comprehensive modelling process, including annual updates and user acceptance testing
- Participation in the annual regulatory reporting activities including but not limited to preparation of the Appointed Actuarys Annual Report, Actuarial Report and Abstract and other reports as required.
- Participation in the adhoc projects on a required basis.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 1-3 years of experience in the actuarial domain, preferably in the modelling or reporting team in a life insurance company.
- 4+ actuarial papers according to new curriculum
- Prior hands-on experience in Prophet, DCS, SQL and MS Office.
- Adherence to process controls, checks enhancements and innovation matrix.
- Good communication and analytical skills, positive attitude, willingness to learn and a collaborative mindset.
