Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business reporting requirements.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the performance of existing ETL jobs and data workflows.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.
- Implement data governance, security, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and processes.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, or other data processing technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Exposure to modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and version control systems (Git).
