Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for Azure environments
• Provision and manage Azure services including:
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
• Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce best practices
• Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Configure and manage networking components including:
• VNet Peering
• Private Link / Private Endpoints
• Firewall and Security Rules
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are implemented
• Monitor infrastructure performance and optimize cost and reliability
• Collaborate with data engineering and application teams for environment setup
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
• Support application releases, deployments, and operational processes
• Manage source control and branching strategies using GitHub
• Deploy, maintain, and support Kubernetes (AKS)-based applications and services
• Provide release coordination and operational support across production and non-production environments

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Terraform (Azure Provider)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
• Good understanding of Azure Networking:
• VNets, Subnets, NSG, Load Balancer, VPN, Private Endpoints
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and logging
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS)
• Experience with GitHub and source control best practices (branching strategies)
• Working knowledge of SQL Server / SQL scripting

• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
